Parking sessions - Summary

Description: Gives an overview of total and average parking sessions and parking duration on your site.

Can be used for: Seeing how busy your parking site is, and monitoring parking trends.

Filter by: Date, group type (sector, lot, bay type), group name, day, hour.

Note: The arrow up or down shows how the current data compares to the previous period of the same duration. For example, if the report covers 7 days, the arrow will show a comparison from the previous 7 days.

Parking sessions - Duration

Description: Shows a pie chart with parking sessions grouped by duration length.

Can be used for: See what length of sessions are most common

Filter by: Date, group type (sector, lot, bay type), group name, hour.

Parking sessions - Hourly

Description: Shows arrival data over a 24-hour period, for different dates.

Can be used for: Compare arrival times between different days and different hours.

Filter by: Date, group type (sector, lot, time limit i.e. control), group name, bay name, arrival hour.

Parking sessions - Details

Description: List of parking sessions, with details for each one.

Can be used for: Getting more information when resolving a parking dispute.

Filter by: Date, group type (sector, lot, time limit i.e. control), group name, parking session type (flash, which is 2 minutes or less, or standard, which is above 2 minutes), bay name, hour.

How seconds are shown in session duration

The session duration is shown in minutes, and the seconds are shown in decimal format rounded to one place, rather than actual seconds. For example, 2.5 means 2 minutes 30 seconds.

This is so that when session durations are added together in a spreadsheet the totals are accurate. For example, 2.5 minutes plus 2.5 minutes equals 5 minutes.

Showing seconds in decimals means that each decimal point represents 6 seconds, as
shown in the table below.
